Founded in 2016, GIA Institute brings strategic judgement and engineering expertise to European innovation funding. We work closely with organisations whose ambitions call for a considered, rigorous approach.
People say I’m an entrepreneur by nature. Curiosity fuels tenacity. I founded my Secondary School’s journal and my university’s Astronomy Club. I graduated with two M.Sc. degrees in Telecom and Electronics Engineering and an MBA, and I started six companies. I learnt a great deal of new things on my way.
You can imagine how excited I feel to work with people passionate about bringing new ideas to life. The sensation of sharing my expertise in the EU grant portfolio (I started as an adviser for the European Commission in 2019) and finding funding options together with our clients for their unseen innovations can only be compared to the silent sailing on a sunny day with a pleasant breeze — one of my passions.

Funding Strategy
Finding the right match between your idea and funding opportunities is challenging. We have helped hundreds of organisations find the right funding programme at the right time. This service is exclusive to GIA Club members.
Curated Consortium Access
We will introduce you to the matching candidates in our network or find the right partners for a consortium in all EU Member states, if needed. We have hundreds of contacts in Europe, including SMEs, startups, researchers, universities, renowned research centres, foundations, and non-profit associations in our areas of expertise. We work with organisations all over the EU, from Western to Southern Europe, from the Nordics to the Mediterranean. This service is exclusive to GIA Club members.
Proposal Preparation
Over 50% of Horizon proposals are not submitted. It may be a lack of time or experience, issues in managing the consortium, or other problems. Our Strategic Innovation Architects ensure top-quality documents, including expert evaluators’ insights and a thorough review using our unique, state-of-the-art, self-developed GIA Delphos platform. In addition, we coordinate collaboration among consortium partners, handle all administrative processes, and manage the application portal. We become your expert hands in Horizon Europe.
Review & Resubmission
Being rejected after all the work devoted to a proposal application is frustrating. This service is developed in steps, starting with an ESR analysis to identify key areas for improvement, a Call Rematcher to find the best call to submit the improved application, and our Consortium Restyle service to balance and strengthen the consortium.
This strategy, improved by the unprecedented GIA Delphos performance, brings nearly 100% of our clients’ proposals from rejected to funded!
Grant Coordination & Compliance
Do not spend your time on administrative tasks, struggling to meet the grant requirements. Your Strategic Innovation Architect at GIA Institute will set up the right administration system to meet and monitor the grant requirements, assist you in budget compliance, and produce the periodic and final reports and deliverables. You will have exclusive access to GIA Lynx, our most user-friendly Horizon Europe project management software.
Collaborative Project Management
Give maximum time to your European project by complementing your project with our Project Management Service. You will enjoy a dedicated Project Manager with years of experience in EU grant management, support from our administrative team, and access to the GIA Lynx collaboration tool. This will provide your consortium with structure, regulatory expertise, and proactivity, as well as a direct link to the funding body from project start to finish. This service is provided on a monthly basis and can be hired at any stage of your project.
Communication & Dissemination
We count on science communication experts with experience in EU project dissemination. We partner with leading institutions to ensure maximal exposure to your project. We utilise a wide-ranging platform to implement effective scientific outreach for your organisation or project. This service is provided on a monthly basis and can be hired at any stage of your project.
Feasibility Study
Are you a company with a ground-breaking concept, but unsure of the road ahead and its commercial potential? Do you have a platform technology, and do you want to assess new marketable applications to boost your company’s growth? Are you a university group that needs a thorough assessment of a product? If so, a feasibility study is key to obtaining these answers.
